I got a little problem when there is two trees that allready exist seperate and then two people get married or partner up. I can't add a person as a partner because the email adress allready exist and it tells me to try something else. But I dont want to try something else.. I want to connect to that person and merge his tree into my tree. Is this a bug or is there a workaround besides making another email adress and run two seperate trees on two adresses?
This is actually also a problem for me. My wife has added some persons to her tree. However, I'm not able to see a complete tree. Eather I can see my three or her tree.
Is it possible to merge these trees automatically?
Thanks for the feedback. Merging of trees is something which is quite complex from a technical point of view. I completely agree that people will want their trees to be joined and not have separate trees, but there are some major technical issues involved here that need to be overcome. I am confident that we will be able to figure it out, but for the time being we will just have separate trees - sorry :(
I will let you know as soon as we have developed this new feature though.
Dude - bear in mind that Kindo is completely free to use and there are loads of other exciting features that we would also like to develop, so just be patient. It is something that we want to do, but as I have already said, it's really complex and will take lots of developer resources to get done.
